Wintery PansyWe were feeling left out up here in north Britain so the weather kindly paid us a visit.

Hidden shoots

The snow fell late on Sunday and by early Monday was starting to melt a little. The crocus’ are still poking their shoots above ground though.

JoelA little bit over-exposed but Joel lies under a thin blanket of snow.

MaggieAs does Maggie. The striking pink cyclamen flowers look nice against the crisp white snow though.

ShellyEven Shelly got a good dusting although it looks more like icing sugar.

Snow cappedThe strongest will survive!

It’s been raining here in London all day which has melted the last vestiges of any snow that was still around.

Shelly looks like a decoration on the top of the cake.
We haven’t seen too much snow either… what a shame! (joking… please snow, stay away!)

  3. It was a 48 hour thing – it’s all gone from the boxes now although a couple of snow sculptures still survive!
